Switch on Event at The Stephen Lawrence Centre

Chocolate Films was invited to a steller event called Switch On at The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust. They flung open their doors to facilitators from all across London for the ultimate networking event.
Chocolate was given the stylish AV Suite where we screened Girls on Gangs, a recent project we ran in partnership with The Stephen Lawrence Centre with participants coming from Sydenham School. We also had our film Architecture for Everyone and our Shake! films playing in other rooms in the building so we were well represented!
The girls who had taken part also came along and were each presented a certificate and their own copy of the DVD and it was a fantastic opportunity to engage young people in the kind of projects we run.
The event was a major success, we had a great time chatting to young people and potential clients and partners and the evening was topped by Doreen Lawrence switching on the lights to The Stephen Lawrence Centre's bright new future.
