In August 2010 Chocolate Films followed a day in the life of 'Rosy the Ballerina', at the Mix Festival in Burgess Park. Rosy is no ordinary ballerina however, she is an inflatable bubble-like pavilion who tours London's parks and green spaces providing an extraordinary space for performances and arts events. At the Mix Festival Rosy hosted a music-making workshop for young people run by artists Juneau Projects and Tate Modern.
Chocolate Films filmmakers Ana Tovey and Sheena Patel were there to capture Rosy's magical inflation at dawn, the maverick music-making that ensued inside, and the responses of festival-goers to this most unusual structure. The short documentary 'Rosy in the Mix' has just been posted online, watch it here
