Chocolate Films are looking for volunteers to assist our filmmakers and young programmers in running a pop-up cinema event at the Brick Box Café in Tooting Market!! The project itself is called Out of the Ordinary. Click here for more details about it.

If you are interested in alternative cinema, pop-up events or working with young people and the community, you may be interested in joining the Chocolate Films team for a thrilling cinema screening that’s far from ordinary. You don’t need to have any previous experience, just be enthusiastic and ready to work in a team to assist with the smooth running of the event.

You will be involved with:

- Distributing flyers (previous to the event)

- Tweeting and spreading the word about the event on facebook etc.

- Setting up the space at The Brick Box – arranging seating, distributing audience participation materials, setting up production design etc

- Welcoming the audience – handing out blankets, hot water bottles and pop corn to guests

- Assist our young programmers with any interactive elements of the screening

- Packing up after the screening event

The event takes place on the 12th May 2012, we would meet at The Brick Box, Tooting Market at 3pm, and we will be packed up and out of the market by 9pm
