Chocolate Films is working with 30 homeless young people from St Basils in Birmingham and 30 young people who are considered NEET from The Rathbone Organisation in Hackney. With the support and training from the CF team, they will be involved in every aspect of making their own films about what 'home' means to them, from the scriptwriting to distribution.
We took in the NatWest Community Force fundraising campaign which took place between 26th September - 23rd October 2011. We campaigned for your votes for a £6000 grant from NatWest, for the project. The young people shared their thoughts and film ideas and with thanks to all your voting, we were awarded the £6000 grant and we were able to bring the films to life.
Check out photos from the screening, which took place at the BFI on 17th March 2012.
