Dominoes and Bingo is an intimate portrait of Stockwell Good Neighbours, a local group consisting primarily of first generation Caribbean settlers who meet up every Monday to play dominoes and bingo. The film focuses on just a few members of the group: Eggbert, a former soldier and second world war survivor, James and Esmerelda, who found love against all the odds, and their energetic group leader Lesley. It is a warm and human story about individuals who came to this city alone and built a vibrant community.
